The updates usually start to roll out at 10AM Pacific time

I'm really curious about Stage Manager, but I'm not sure if there's anything else that I'm interested in.

When you have iOS 16 and stuff, the EarPods apparently also update, and they seem to be way better then, regarding spacial and shit.

I haven't noticed any difference with my AirPods Max, but I did get a set of Airpods Pro 2 around the same time as iOS 16 and they sound better than their predecessors. I find special audio to be a bit of a mixed bag for music, but generally like it. It's really good for video.

Are you sure? I think that the newest iPad Air that won't get 16 is the 2nd generation, which was released in 2014.

I try and fetch the update but it won’t appear

It's not out yet.

But I just checked and Apple didn't release the Air 3 until 2019, so the Air 2 was out for a looong time. I'd be disappointed if and iPad that I bought in Sept. 2019 wouldn't get OS updates in 2022. I'd be very pissed off if it wouldn't get security updates.

iPad mini says now 8 hours remaing, and the iPad pro which got it way later offered says 35 seconds...

I think the iPad mini is stuck somehow.

So far Stage Manager is pretty cool on my (2018) 11" iPad Pro. There are definitely times when it'll come in handy, I think.
