Legionnaires got to be feral teens, but their Legion Cadets needed to learn to meet the grade first.

They didn't appear in a lot of issues. Mainly had, like, two or three storylines before largely being forgotten.

(Also, they had a weird issue where Superboy almost had a romance with one of the Cadets who turned out to be Laurel Kent at the end of the issue.)

(Laurel was interesting. Tried to live up to the Kent family name and be a decent heir to Superman, but only had one of his powers, invulnerability. Then, a while later, they decided to reveal that she was just a Manhunter robot and she blew herself up. It was dumb.)
