depends on the purpose AND what ppl ask if it is work for magazines... but usually something around 5000x3000 so i can crop and twist them in PS later

I'm experimenting at 5000x3000 as of last night - liking the resolution and smoothing of things, feels like I hardly have to retouch!

I max out to the largest size possible. It strains the laptop a bit, but it gives the most detail.

the new 'puter handles 5000x3000 pretty easily so far, I'm tempted to go a bit bigger, since it handles it rather well.
