And Jecht's gonna be a mini boss fight, at the rate things are going, and I'm not particularly up for an outright fight thread of that, so I might find a way to just. Gloss over details and shove things quickly into an aftermath
azul would probably need to think he's still alive for most of it, and then jecht would have to be there when azul realizes he's been killed- and take certain measures to calm him down and reassure him that jecht would have him revived soon
Tiernan won't flip out if Jamil dies, though he'd prefer to prevent it. He can't be everywhere, though. He'd pop up regularly to help out during the death toll if that happens. So p much whatever you wanna go with is fine.
Jamil grumpily sleeping off death toll sounds like a cute way to do the end of the month, honestly. So maybe keeping it to the KO/temporary coma for the chaos, to keep Azul from OBing... then honestly? If Jamil was going to die and was awake/aware? He'd throw the band in Tiernan's general direction and trust him to know what to do
Which, sadly... isn't purely out of caring for Azul, as adorable as that'd be. He just doesn't want Azul dying, or something, and then both of them stuck with the death toll at the same time
