That is so sad But I am thankful that her family is granting her her wish for donating her organs, and that it's being researched if there are any which can give receipients a seconds shot at life! As partner of a recipient, I am eternally grateful for organ donors.

I would be sad if she didn’t do what she did.

With her being deprived oxygen plus the fire and smoke damage to her body it will be amazing if anything is usable but it’s great they are trying. That’s too sad that this happened. Poor lady.

It is sad, some of the comments I saw on facebook were just horrendous.

And I feel like all these articles are simplifying it the way you just did. She just caused an accident while DUI. It’s like brushing it under the rug that she got high and drove around almost killing more than herself. That person was lucky to get out alive, and save her animals, but she lost everything.

I never said she deserved this, my sadness of the situation just lies more with her victim she left behind.

Little Sunshine : there is that, and I agree with you. But that doesn't change that the whole situation is sad, and then i wonder, why does ANYONE celeb or not get high and DUI. that is so irresponsible. If anything, this is extra sad, because it could have been prevented?

I don’t know what all is being said about her on social media, but just to be clear I don’t at all think she deserves to be where she is. I guess my original comment wasn’t entirely accurate. It’s not that I don’t find it sad, I just find the situation as a whole sad, and it’s upsetting this was all preventable.

I'm torn because addiction is a motherfucker, you never know what someone is going through to use all those drugs. At the same time what she did was reckless and could have killed innocent people. It's just sad all around.

I believe she has minor children, so no matter how liable she was, the estate should go to supporting them. [/notalawyer]
