[sandman] also I was trying to articulate why I'm not hype for the show but all I could really come up with was "I'm not at all attracted to Tom Sturridge" so. that might just be the only reason

then again it's not like Dream in volume 1 was that easy to look at either

I guess the other reason is that I'm sad it will supersede the audiobook

the audiobook is really the sandman adaptation imo ;A; it's done really well

not that there was a huge audiobook fandom springing up I guess

anyway, not hype, still gonna watch I guess

Wow, audiobooking a comic has got to be a huge challenge

but I am speaking as someone familiar with the comics, I don't know if someone who hasn't read them would get the same enjoyment from the audiobook or not

in which case maybe it's more of a companion piece than a really successful adaptation
