in some ways this results in kind of a missing stair feeling with the fact that there are conversely some specific things that Nanako is very much not assertive about
tho in some respects it is very like. I trust you to be yourself. LIKE HE WON'T REALLY FEEL BETRAYED IF/WHEN NNK TRIES TO KILL AKITO even tho that is literally something Yuki asked him not to do
but it's not impossible to damage either, like if nnk made an outright promise to him and then broke it Yuki would be pretty hurt. Idk if it would be broken tho, whether it could be patched up or not would depend on the circumstances
some of which IS like 'I trust Nanako not to share this with others' like if Nanako told people about him turning into a rat he'd probably be pissed. but it's not about that as much as it is about the fact he feels comfortable enough to say things to Nanako in the first place
I think tbh while Yuki thinks Nanako's problems are more than his own and beyond his capacity to understand/help with, he still feels they're pretty similar in how they function at their core

I don't think anything else reaches the level of 'fear'... he feels pretty secure with Jamil really. for concerns there is always a little concern that he's going to stretch himself too thin
he fusses over Jamil bc he feels like it's helpful to him to have someone persistently reminding him he doesn't have to do everything himself. but really he mostly feels like Jamil has a handle on things
getting to see firsthand that Jesper and Jamil are really close was funny cuz he is honestly kind of jealous about it on both sides. like Of Course Jesper Is Better At Making Jamil Laugh Than Me but also otoh it was like, an active reminder that Jamil also is a really popular person who doesn't have the same social issues he does
I would not say he is envious that Jamil got Kalim instead of Akito because in a way Yuki feels that made Jamil MORE stuck, and Yuki really does still think getting out completely is the best for himself and he does suspect it would have been harder for him to feel that way if Akito didn't suck so bad. so this is not an answer to the question but
in general he feels like Jamil is more capable and better adjusted than he is but only some bits of that cross into 'envy' and then other bits are just admiration
like 'Jamil knows a lot of relevant information for their situation' is just admiration, 'Jamil is comfortable talking to people' is envy, and then 'Jamil is more capable of not holding grudges' is like. on a line between the two

he would also have to grapple a little with Jamil being a dude but I think with Jamil in particular he could actually square that pretty easily in his head
he is still irrationally afraid of Akito isolating him again even though like. he has a lot of reassurance for that being not actually an option in snek. which does help but doesn't make it go away entirely
everything to do with Akito is a fucking mess and there's also like, different aspects of mess that are worse for other people who aren't Yuki and maybe it would be better to change one of those for other people's sakes
