Like, no offense to Americans, but if a book is set in Fantasy England and Fantasy England Adjacents, I'm not gonna be listening to it if it's read by somebody with an American accent.

I find it hard enough to listen to ANY kind of fantasy narrated by an American accented narrator (unless it's ... y'know, set in America) because ... it does the nails on a chalkboard thing for me, like when there's an American accent in Robin Hood or something

But one specifically set in Fantasy London, where the narrator for the first one was a nice English accented fellow, augh

Oh, all the reviews are "book's fine, narration is HORRIBLE" so I guess I'm giving that one a miss.

I suppose it's no great loss, I didn't like the female character from the first book at all anyway.
