I have never used one in a rice cooker, is there water in the rice cooker?

When I am making it in a pot I mash it up a little in the water so there's not gonna be like a big chunk of garlic in the middle, it dissolves nicely

dragon time Basically a rice cooker is a pot of water to cook rice in but it precisely cooks the rice (as long as you use the right amount of water) by waiting to see when the surface gets hotter than the boiling point of water because the means the rice absorbed all the water.

I thiiiiiink you should dissolve cube in water so that when water gets into rice garlic also gets into rice. if the water that goes into the cooker is cold then mash it up with a little hot water first

Rice cookers are great

It's super useful for me, even better if the brand of rice you use has tested/mentions the amount of water necessary, but usually the cooker gives you a good metric. For the Calrose rice I use it's 1 and 1/4 cup water per cup uncooked rice.

I suppose you could also put in The Cube when you open it and it's nice and steamy and then you can stir it

Fresh rice is pretty hot and in this case is it turns out right around the boiling temp of water

there's actually two types of rice cooker, one based on weight and one based on temperature

the weight-based ones tend to be a bit cheaper and don't have actual timers or alarms because they just click off when the pan has gotten lighter than the water weight

they're not as good but they're still functional
