My neighbor keeps trying to add light between the houses for security. The last implementation was battery powered lights that were ignored.
batteries have been dead on the small ones for a year or so. The larger one died about 2 months ago.

This is the North side of his house so sun access is an issue, but really, hanging wires?

Jeez, he could at least fasten them to the house; safely of course.

How much harder than installing the light it self is it to put some wire clips on the siding?

: Yes. a few well placed clips would be appropriate. It is the cement fiberboard siding, so not too hard to manage friction fit clips under the lip.
