The way he said "You give em Hell!" carried so much weight. Felt like the entire spirit of America and all the generations of American warfighters and patriots were with him as he said that word.
This score playing over as the pilots realize they probably aren’t coming home, while still suiting up and launching off the carrier despite that fact…. was a lot more emotional than I thought it would be.
at the beginning where there was this top view of the Darkstar turning had me so emotionally loaded hearing this. It really gave me this feeling of loneliness but in a good way the freedom and silence of space. it was so beautiful, ive seen it 2 times now and I will go again both times felt like the first time.
I legitimately felt bad for Hangman during this scene. As cocky as that dude is, he just wanted to get the job done. And when he wasn't picked for the mission, you really feel the disappointment. Then later on, he celebrated a bit when Rooster hit his mark.
Interesting trivia: the character "Hangman" was originally called "Slayer". That version of him was cocky to a fault. When Maverick picked Rooster, Slayer threw a hissy fit and was essentially not heard from again.
Glen Powell turned down the role because he didn't want to play a one-dimensional antagonist, so they rewrote him as "Hangman" and turned him into the character he ended up being.
it's kind of a mix of Maverick's rogue cowboy attitude and Ice Man's cockiness. But yeah, Mav definitely saw a bit of himself in Hangman, especially during their first Top Gun dogfight.

我很喜歡劊子手雖然自負，但還是很專業

如果劊子手走原本的設定
我可能就不會特別喜歡這一部了（？）會覺得很老套
但因為不是完全走86mav 的角色曲線，劊子手能伸能屈的成熟行為，讓故事得以聚焦在任務上，達成共同的目標：成功完成任務
冰獨綜合體併出新滋味讓mav 彷彿看到過去的自己，也呼應了劇情中對今昔的對比、時間的流逝、傳承的意味
hang真的很細膩啊，看他優雅的降落方式跟他平常尖刺的行為差這麼多⋯⋯他真的很行啊，厲害到沒人相信。
還有，劊子手
你就是小小的我記得我看過一個葛倫的採訪，就是他沒選上公雞後，阿湯找他回來演劊子手這腳色，然後葛倫說他不想要演一個馬爾福，所以他拒絕阿湯兩次，兩次
我覺得世代傳承不落俗套最需要的要素，就是要能看到過去的影子，但走出自己的路。而且那個走出來的路還要解決過去的遺憾，這一點我覺得TGM真的⋯⋯完美到像是童話故事
如果那個獨行俠在暗星後即死亡的假設為真，我也會覺得這部好好看啊
