Mobius hasn't had a pet that he can recall, though the Circle certainly kept cats around for hunting the mice. Fickle creatures that could rub up against your ankles (inadvertently tripping you) out of affection one moment, hopping about knocking everything over the next.
since they're falling out of a rift, I'll probably save tossing them in game officially until later (either during a mission or on the way to one, we'll see how things shake out), but Astarion's giving one of them to Fenris and let's be real, I have a feeling they're going to be pretty about them for a good bit
SO originally my thought was I was going to put up a meme at the start of this month, spotted the truth event and then thought that meme might be better off as a network post or something like that instead while the truth event is in effect
also initially I was waffling on Astarion being affected, but I think overall it'd be more fun to just have him also have 0 filter whatsoever for once, so since today ran so long I'll dig into more in depth plotting for that tomorrow
but ok I wanted to catch up on what's been going down before I dug in on approach, which at this point, I think local vampelf might just loiter and sort of remotely keep watch/stick to the Whatever Else zone
because as much as the idea of Circles absolutely bothers him (cannot be overstated), the current proposal just lists mages, and no matter how far he's come in terms of learning how to be a decent person, he's still carrying that residual so-long-as-it's-not-me-or-mine mentality at heart
aka he's not for the proposal going through, but he's sticking to the background until something gives— or unless someone feels like having a sobered one-on-one about it
feeling too tired to be coherent so I'll leave this generally floating as a rough idea vacuum until tomorrow, but that's the general gist of things overall barring any cr adjustments or tweaked plans etc
