(us pol) in case no one is talking about it in your area or no one has seen it. two girls were run over at a repro rights protest in iowa and the lapd openly assaulted peaceful protestors. in rhode island a senate candidate was attacked.

make no mistake. these things are happening everywhere.

we are seeing a failure to report on it.

or at least a failure to quickly report on it.

there are snipers on top of the supreme court buiding, posted day and night since roe v. wade was turned over.

Apparently my brother-in-law originally got berated by the AP because when he was asked to cover Congresswoman Giffords' shooting he chose shots that didn't show the gore but instead showed the efforts of the first responders. That lasted until the photos got picked up nationwide.

This is sadly NOTHING new. There's a lot of stories that don't make the cut because they don't feel they fit the editorial narrative.
