as i said on twt afterwards: another side-effect of not every pokemon in games is that a little bit of the New Game hype is gone. for example: you see quaxly. you're excited. then you wonder if it'll share a game with ducklett because they'd be a cute team.

holding out hope for Ducklett because it's one of the 63 Pokemon still not available in any Switch game, but...yeah, it's tough

I hope Scarlet and Violet's dex prioritizes those 63 because they need somewhere to go
