guess what. Yep, fibre is laidm all connections made . . but no signal.

The old copper line is still there so I can still work and web and they'll come back later.

I mean with fiber they could actually check by just looking if it lights up. Is there any light coming through the fiber?

If not then the problem is on the other end.

I think they are using IR so not visible. Anyway He did get no signal on his test. So now I wait for a reschedule . Good thing is they did dig a new trench and came in at a different place so the old cable is still good.

problem is that, if there is a crack in the cable itself light may still pass but the signal may be lost
