Tangent but I firmly believe that a lot of their communication problems in '69 came from the fact they were no longer vibing at that level but didn't actually realize it? In the sense that, their shared language had deteriorated but they each thought they were being more clear than they were.

Because they used to be basically one brain.

And when you're used to what you've essentially decided is telepathy, which they did speak to (especially John but you know), and you think the other party has picked up what you're putting down but you've actually drifted to the point where it's no longer obvious, you've got a problem.

I mean there's a few moments where John is actually like, "bro what are you actually asking for?" and Paul literally cannot say, so that's pretty obvious. But I mean, overall, I think they're struggling around thinking they know one another absolutely but they're no longer sharing every thought.
