英國國家公園山丘綻放大片藍鈴花數百年首見 管理處：「代表古代是林地。」
Exmoor: 'Stunning' bluebells hint at a wooded past
英國埃克斯默爾（Exmoor）國家公園的山丘今年春突然綻放大量藍鈴花，數百年來首見。
藍鈴花是習慣生長在林蔭下的植物，但開花的山丘在過去數百年都是開闊的草地。
國家公園管理人員因此認為，此處在古代曾經是森林，藍鈴花球根在地下長年冬眠，因管理處去年開始的新植樹計畫，創造出適當生長條件而發芽。

有一點點懷疑球根能冬眠這麼久嗎
畢竟是

？
換一種方式想，意思是它們一直都活著，有根、有營養，只是沒有適合的環境條件可以發芽，然後就……然後就沒有然後的這樣過了數百年，等到感覺好像環境又變成森林了才再發芽。
……還是覺得蠻不可思議的XD

還是說這是那種「再不開花就要死了所以趕快開一開」的刺激？但內文也有說到因為有控制蕨類的生長（加上種樹），所以過去被suppress的球根就崛起了XD
