Today was another deep dive in to deep time started by watching ep 2 of Prehistoric Planet.

After that, I mostly watched Eons, and honestly, any time the evolutionary value of the mammalian oddity known colloquially as the "penis bone" comes up is totally awesome.

Other highlights includes the two most metal common names for animals to have graced the Cenozoic, the Hell Pigs and the Bone-Crushing Dogs.

But yes, I spent like six hours watching nature and paleontology stuff.
