I’ve been struggling to get through A Court of Silver Flames. I do not like Nesta. I LOVE Cassian.

How Nesta treats the people around her, especially Feyre in A Court of Frost and Starlight and the start of ACoSF just hit too close to home with my own terrible sister.

My sister thinks just because she is struggling mentally that she can get away with treating everyone around her like shit specially myself and her daughter. She has a rule that we can’t yell at her but she can yell at us. Like what?

Nesta isn’t completely like that but close enough that I did not like her.

I know ACoSF was Nesta’s redemption book but I went in thinking there is nothing SJM could write that would make me change my mind on Nesta.

God dammit I was wrong.

I’ve reached the Winter Solstice part of the book and I find myself rooting for Nesta. She is healing and I can understand why many people love her.

My love for Cassian has just grown with this book. He was my favourite bat boy before the book (sorry Rhys) and this book has just made me love him even more.

God damn SJM.
