So there's been a fire at work. The parking lot is behind the building, so we're all stuck here until the fire compan(ies) say we can leave.

I should have packed up and left as soon as they announced there was a fire, but instead I'm here on the clock.

Emergency is over.... just waiting for the trucks to move so I can get my car out.

I didn’t punch out until I could leave. I’ll let my supervisor decide how to handle that.
