[RL rambling]

I'm thinking of getting a new job. like, same job, but different age range.

basically, I tried high school. these parents want their kids to still be treated like kids.

and frankly, if Im expected to babysit, I would rather not deal with boners. sorry for being crass, but...

i have three students whose parents refuse to give them proper edication in dealing with their bodies and It's not my job.

spelling errors but I'm upset.

like, they're almost adults. They should know how to NOT touch themselves in public.

but their parents don't want them to have sex ed.

that sounds really uncomfortable. young people need to have that information, and it is harmful of their parents to be so obstinate about that

exactly. I just don't feel comfortable in this environment.

really wish sex ed were mandated nationwide for all students like it is in some countries

yeah. I mean, it's part of health, but the students with disabilities need more than that. one was already accused of SH.

his mother didn't take it seriously at all.

The parents are almost always the worst ting about caring for kids. I'm so sorry you have to deal with that. I hope you can find a better job!

yeah, there's no consequences and quite frankly, I'm not paid enough to deal with the liability and fallout if something happens.
