i dreamed my brother called some kinda electrician off google to come fix our laundry machine but it turned out he was actually a child kidnapper who may or may not have been targeting witches

my sister and i had a little witch kit that i steered him away from because he kept leaving the laundry room (which was like this dark empty basement-type room with a hole in the floor) to look at other things that had absolutely nothing to do with plumbing or electricity

at some point i unpacked a pack of stuff which turned out to be a secret spy kit? sis and i each got kind of an ipad type thingy with secret spy checklists and once again we had to keep the guy from seeing it (it said SECRET SPY on it in various places)

there was something involving a discussion about ein from cowboy bebop at one point?

then later i guess my sister had to go into hiding or something? so we were driving down a tree-lined street that was probably a rich people neighborhood? the trees were huuuuuuuge with big wide branches and fallen flowers(?) everywhere and we stopped outside the big adobe gate of a bit adobe manor

it reminded me vaguely of the big orange monstrosity in our neighborhood, but actually nice-looking

the owners were supposedly an aunt and uncle, but the aunt looked like the weather aunt from the casita movie and the uncle looked a little like a cartoon character, with a pear-shaped figure and kind of a 16th-century white wig hairstyle

they also had sons! two or three? i think? they were very excited to see us, then disappointed at the lack of whatever video games they were hoping for, then excited again because we did actually bring some games (which may or may not have been on the spypad)

anyway then my cat attacked me, good morning

oh wait no we had to go get groceries or something from outside but then we couldn't get back in so i circled around to the side and on the upper part of the wall there was this row of like, broken pottery and other things?

so i was very carefully cracking that open and when the opening was wide enough we could pass stuff through into the walkway to the house and i'm not sure how the rest of us were going to get in but that's when the cat attacked me
