SeeYouInShibuya
Finally talked to the doctor

SeeYouInShibuya
After some serious annoying pushback from the receptionist

SeeYouInShibuya
I mean really

SeeYouInShibuya
You're the receptionist, you don't know what I need

SeeYouInShibuya
She's like you don't think you should come in?

SeeYouInShibuya
I'm out of town so no

SeeYouInShibuya
If she needs to see me, she'll tell me that.

SeeYouInShibuya
(She doesn't. I knew she didn't.)

SeeYouInShibuya
Anyway, she says it's neuralgia which I was already guessing because you know google

SeeYouInShibuya
And because the worst of the pain is in my back she's going to get an x-ray just in case

SeeYouInShibuya
She's putting me on meds that deal with neurological pain

SeeYouInShibuya
The cause is who the fuck knows

SeeYouInShibuya
As usual

SeeYouInShibuya
But this is a symptom she can treat

SeeYouInShibuya
Especially indicative is the fact the medication I tried didn't touch the pain that's totally normal

Spring Clinds
Man. I'm glad you at least have a bit of an answer and that it can be treated.

SeeYouInShibuya
My neurological pathways already don't work so what's one more problem

SeeYouInShibuya
Yep, I'll take a solution to the pain so I can sleep

Spring Clinds
That's such a spiral. Pain, can't sleep. No sleep, more susceptible to pain. And so it goes.

SeeYouInShibuya
It's been four nights and about 10 interrupted hours cumulative. It's been a touch rough

SeeYouInShibuya
I may be getting a tad grumpy

SeeYouInShibuya
Bonus is that the meds are likely to make me drowsy

SeeYouInShibuya
Oh extra bonus, I've had them before so we know I shouldn't react

Spring Clinds
Excellent. You can get some good sleep.
