I hate being the opening Leader on a Saturday. The same groomer has called out in every Saturday for the last month and half.

Today they have car trouble. They live in the city and when I mentioned calling a can they went ‘I don’t have the money for that.’

Maybe because you’re always calling in?!

Petsmart had a safety policy where there has to be two trained people in the Salon when someone is working on a dog. Just in case kind of scenarios.

So I have to be in the Salon until 10:30 while the other groomer that showed up works on their dogs.

The store opens at 9. We have no staff and no hours and so it’s going to be just my cashier on the floor. No customer service. No fish wall. Not for an hour and a half.

Funny thing is that my boss is all about customer service right now because the store is not doing so well. Or at least head office thinks so.

How about head office gives us back the hours they took away when Covid started and never gave back?

Ugh. Some mornings I really hate working retail.

God damn.
