about Elf

as established early on and then super underused in later scenes

Elf can see people's auras as colors

that give some vague information about the person's nature, their past, and their future

for example Elf was able to tell by Iseul's aura that anyone who traveled with him was courting death at the hands of Orion

but here's the realization

Elf was the leader of the rebellion against House Gungjeon

he was there when they jumped Han-jae to kill him

and the INSTANT he saw the man

he would have known that they were all going to die

and that the rebellion would fail

Ouch.
