I only own bagless because it was what was sold that did what I wanted it to do. I don't really have a meaningful opinion either way, tbh. Bagged is convenient because then you don't have the cloud that poofs up out of the trashcan when you change the bag. Bagless is convenient because then you don't have to keep buying bags.

I had a bagless and hated it, you needed to scrape off the gunk from the filter thing by hand. Cleaning it was always SUCH an ordeal and had to be done on the balcony for dust clouds
