seriously it's so rare for a manga to be written in dialect!! ime usually the characters just speak standard (Tokyo) Japanese no matter where it takes place

like Haruhi Suzumiya takes place in Kansai too (I think Shiga) but you wouldn't know it from how they talk

then again in the social media day and age language is probably homogenizing throughout the country anyway...... but leave me alone I love dialects
