Chainsaw Man creator Tatsuki Fujimoto is working on a new manga with the theme of 'femme fatale'

I guess because he really likes stories about women who destroy everything in their way

writing chainsaw man like 'what if I just dropped denji and made makima the protag'

I appreciate that he owns what he's about

also he could conceivably do exactly that given how CSM ended

it's not over

honestly i don't know if I'll read the new thing or not, femme fatale spy shit isn't really my jam

but if it's good, it's good

Given how vastly different in tone Look Back was from CSM and how it's also one of my fav manga ever I'm pretty sure Fujimoto can do anything he sets his mind to and make it excellent

He loves a girlboss

From what I've heard, Fire Punch was more of a mess, but that's, like, an early work iirc.

And even that was a wild ride.

Guy just doesn't do very predictable plots.

You know what, the man knows his own tastes and I respect that.
