signed up for a new free online service through the irs website. yeah, I used to do turbo tax, and yes I am aware of intuit being a shitass fuck of a company but at least they did free filings. they don't anymore tho! bc they're shitass fucks!

also got something from the state that apparently there's been fraud relating to the unemployment system and offering some free identity theft protection

which...sigh okay, I'll look into it. I haven't needed UC since 20 ('weren't you getting unemployment while you were job hunting' frankly I was too tired of the system to give a shit) but like, whatever info of mine's stored there hasn't changed so

nothing weird or hinky's happened with my cards or ID but. still. if it's a free offer I might as well look into it
