woohoo! Dad found me a desk and brother's bringing it over probably tomorrow

I will no longer be taking up half the kitchen table with my work set up

hopefully bro's also going to haul away the rat-eaten couch that's where the desk needs to go, otherwise the den/storage space/auxiliary laundry room/passageway to the sunroom & back yard will be real crowded for a while

of course, this also means my workspace will be literally right next to the door to the garage, which both housemates use instead of the front door (cousin it makes sense since he parks in there, idk why housemate does it since he has to punch in the code, wait for the door to roll up then come in that way instead of just unlocking the front door)

but whatever, doesn't matter, I'll make it work

better than having my back to everything at the kitchen table
