Re: Texas and Trans Youth. 30/50 states have anti-trans legislation in committee or moving forward. and I want to slap people. a majority of them would require teachers and other mandated reports to out kids to their parents or report it to local agencies

and if ANYONE thinks I'm putting kids' lives at risk for a job can go suck an egg. I would rather die first. fuck that noise.

Re: Russia-Ukraine war. I had kids worriedly asking me if this would affect them, if we'd be at risk bc of Russia's views and relationship with us and the arms they have...and I just...did not know how to answer them.

These are kids that were brought here to avoid conflict, to not have to worry about war. they know what it looks like. they know what these people on boarders are facing....and the recognition on their faces breaks my heart.
