[TMI/Whining] I swear to god I have the driest hair ... head? in the world.

Eyebot
It was absolutely FINE for years, whole YEARS

Eyebot
I thought that I'd suddenly developed dandruff

Eyebot
Tried different dandruff shampoos ... head and shoulders (made my hair smell weird), L'oreal Clear, Alpecin, Coal Tar, all of them

Eyebot
IT GOT WORSE

Eyebot
TURNS OUT dandruff shampoo can dry your scalp out MORE if it's misidentified dandruff and now I'm going to have to see if I can get a moisturising shampoo to sort this shit out

Eyebot
I should have realised since my skin generally has been Inexplicably Dry lately

Eyebot
If I wasn't the palest person in the universe it would probably be easier to tell

Eyebot
but now I'm just annoyed

Eyebot
It's really annoying too, since my hair itself is FINE? My hair's not dry, but all the available shampoos are either 'for oily/greasy', 'for dry/damaged' and my hair isn't dry or damaged

Eyebot
There seems to be 700 different shampoos for different 'types' of hair but nothing besides E45 shampoo for dry scalps. Very annoying.

Nika
let me know if you find one! I seem to have a similar problem, or at least I also just get more dandruff if I try shampoos for it

Eyebot
The only types of shampoos besides that one geared towards dry scalps is shampoo formulated for black/afro hair and for some reason that is twice the price as for oily/dry/damaged/dyed/purifying/whatever which has to be some sort of discriminatory crime

Eyebot
I shall! I have to be careful though, because while I don't have an oily hair problem, if I use conditioner it tips it towards that direction, which is irritating. I don't dye or heat treat my hair, so it's very healthy, but my head doesn't seem to be, so I either use conditioner and get oily hair or I use no conditioner and end up with pseudo dandruff
