they also mentioned that they specifically could not discuss the moons of the other reflections, so it's possible that there may be plans to visit other reflections and the other ascians are the key to that, is my wild speculation

Honestly from osmosis I feel like his story role is done but I could see something going on like Nael in binding coil or his voidsent buddy having some role if they ever do anything big with the void

Also the Ala Mhigo/Gridania conflict got a nice bit of active reconciliation when Lyse shows up with a company of Ala Mhigans to help with the Dalamud Shard during the prep to the Ragnarok's launch
