it gets so relentless about piss fetish that you can walk into a plurk with corpse party fans and whisper "pee bucket" and everyone will descend into frothing rage over it
it's a lot shorter and only has a few of the recurring characters of the later games, but it has the same atmosphere and general plot structure. i enjoyed it

yeah corpse party's probably not the thing you want. it's very trashy but only sometimes in a fun way.
Manly has a big playlist of his various Corpse Party LPs if you feel like giving it a shot without investing any of your own effort into it, but that's the highest level of engagement i would recommend
