it has occurred to me that I have spent more of my life wishing to live in a normal living place, like an apartment or house than I have spent living in one....

I think I've only spent at most 15 years of my life in a normal apartment or house....

but definitely over 20 years in places that should be illegal.

I'm sick of it

I shouldn't have to be stuck in a slum worried if there is power in my wall and watching shared bathrooms fill up with black mold in every crevice

I shouldn't be a full time working adult who can't even afford the doing rate for a roommate

and yet, people look at you like your absurd to want 30 an hour

if it costs 1300 to rent a room at best, 30 dollars should be the minimum!

not everyone in this world has parents to live with

what about those people who still need somewhere to live?
