What I ended up doing was letting my Umbreon tank while I healed up my team, until he finally crumbled, then threw something else out as sacrifice to Giratina while I revived Umbreon...

I mean my Ursaluna can take a good couple of them... the issue is mostly that I saved my Typhlosion for last on Giratina's OG form so I could NUKE it. Which worked, but also Typhlosion is... ghost... so he imploded when Giratina changed forms LOL
