Question for people who know coding!

∞ sword girls
I'm trying to use this profile code, but it comes out looking like this - I'm not able to get the picture on the same line as the information

∞ sword girls
I don't think it's the journal layout causing it because it still looks like that in site style

Mr. Vocabulary
try adding <raw-code> at the beginning

Mr. Vocabulary
it also seems like your image might be too big

∞ sword girls
oh dang THAT DID THE TRICK

Mr. Vocabulary
OH GOOD lmao

Mr. Vocabulary
DW has auto-formatting so if you use <raw-code> it forces it to be disabled on that chunk of code (you can close it too at the end if you want normal text later)

Mr. Vocabulary
that's always my first instinct tbh

∞ sword girls
I knew DW had modified some stuff about how it processes HTML but I did not realize that was the fix

Mr. Vocabulary
it doesn't always work hahaha

Mr. Vocabulary
BUT IT DOES SOMETIMES...

Mr. Vocabulary
some people design their codes to work WITH the auto-formatting which I think is.... a bad idea, because yes, DW changes how it processes tags sometimes

chris 🪻
you can also check the box that says "turn off auto formatting" which does the same thing as <raw-code>

Mr. Vocabulary
^^yeah you can do that too

Mr. Vocabulary
What is Auto-Formatting?

Mr. Vocabulary
if it's a line break issue like that it's usually the auto-formatting tho

∞ sword girls
ohhh nice

∞ sword girls
I will keep that in mind next time I try a new profile code and it goes squirrelly
