[ffxiv] broad sketch of what I know I want to do when I resub in a few months

first up: i'm three expacs behind on MSQ. do that first. This is where Arcanist Scholar EXP goes

second: since it seems like having a leveled class of all five roles is important now I need to choose classes: which is why I will also be leveling Paladin, Ninja, and... Dancer, probably?

I'm undecided between Dancer and Machinist

Dancer has the big obvious plus of coming in at 60 so I don't have to worry about souring a ton of gear

Machinist is just cool

since like, Seine was almost entirely casters only when I had my sub

(I had actually put some time into Paladin but not much; her whole thing is patterns)

(incidentally is there a shield that's just like, a forcefield)

And the side jobs are where side content EXP goes: that's going to be stuff like Omega, Alliance Raids, leveling roulette...

Re: DNC and MCH, Dancer has a relatively low DPS output, but a metric ton of utility. Machinist is the opposite in that it has limited utility but lots of damage output.
