[spoilers] Some OC noodling

I think right at the end of Endwalker, right before the Scions officially "disband," that's when Aisthota finally gets the Scions and her family together and introduces them to each other.

It just... was never the right time before...

Aisthota like "surely I will get around to this eventually but oops gotta go halfway across the world I guess"

"we're in town but uh-oh everything is on fire maybe later"

"sure would be nice to introduce my family to my friends before we go to fucking space and maybe all die but we do not have time to go to Ul'dah and back before launch time"

All the Scions are very nice and charming to Aisthota's mom but after a couple of hours it's like "oh this is why aisthota is Like This, this makes sense now"

Meanwhile Rhylgeim looks at the Scions and suddenly understands perfectly why these people let her dipshit(affectionate) little sister do all this shit.

Other noodling: I have two WoL OC's and they're both too much of good-hearted dipshits to be Reaper which is a shame because I enjoy Reaper a lot, in both gameplay and story.

I could see Oyuundai doing it in a WoL!Oyuundai AU but I enjoy him so much more as an NPC in Ibhaka's story. Just being like "did you know the khagan is my actual flesh and blood sister?" every time a merchant tries to overcharge him for herbs or something.

it's canon that spellings of the same names vary like crazy on the Steppe because they don't actually use much writing, on the whole

so she's Ibaka now
