Huh.... I got my new test results back and. I have thyroid antibodies going on??? Nothing else, just the ANA and the thyroid. I thought my thyroid was fine???
I'll follow up with my pcp but like... so much of my previous bloodwork has been "you're tired* so we want to make sure it isn't your thyroid" and then every time ofc it's not my thyroid and they go "huh! We don't know!"
*what I am experiencing is a lot more complicated and a lot worse than "being tired" but NoGoodDoctors, etc, I try to explain USING THEIR TERMINOLOGY and they just don't even hear a word I say so w/e

: neither am I, really. The fact that it's literally NEVER MY THYROID had me tricked into thinking I didn't need to spend time researching thyroids
Personally I understand why doctors try to solve everything with the thyroid because it DOES come up a lot BUT I THINK THE IDEA THAT IF IT'S NOT THE THYROID THEN BIG SHRUG or IT'S SOMEHOW YOUR FAULT sucks BALLS

: I hate that I HATE THAT SO MUCH like the way things are handled if something is "borderline" is "in favour of X or Y usually ableist bias" every time
