afaik in matsuno's own words there was going to be more to the ivalice narrative but that after audience reaction to bozja those plans have been potentially scrapped so we may never fully get any more resolution than what's in the field notes

"there are no more plans to continue at this time"

something like that.

which maybe i'm just absurdly desperate but i'm willing to grasp at straws that this means there ended up being no room to continue it during the endwalker and 6.x development period and thus it's been deemed something they can't continue for now

but that it might be part of whatever comes in the next 10-year arc???? god i would love for that to be the case

Bozja'a story was pretty good, the way that content was presented.... eh. Like honestly all of Zadnor was a blur because I hated being in there solo and my FC only did a serious grind for it very early on in patch release

anyway the reason I wanted to know is because I have this speculative mini-scene in my head of finding that guy injured in the midst of the general Garlean civil war chaos, and healing him just as he's 100% sure you're gonna fucking kill him because YOUR KIND HAVE EVER SOUGHT TO SEE MY PEOPLE TRAMPLED UNDERFOOT or whatever the exact wording was
