[resident evil] just saw Welcome to Raccoon City!!! liked it. spoilers here

will say, I think as a standalone movie it did fine! it felt more like a prologue tho than anything else

I do think it suffered for the lack of Tyrants or Nemesis - there was nothing pants-shittingly terrifying about the hordes of zombies to me

but otherwise I think they did okay!

am I a little bit pressed he seemed to be mostly relegated to comic relief?? well, yeah, but other than that I feel like he did really well in this movie

I did watch a camrip and I know there's a post-credits scene but like. camrip did not have the post-credits scene so I Sad I guess

as an adaptation it's not the Best, there's definitely bits where I was like, really, we're going there? (and don't think I am not ALSO pressed about the lack of Marvin!!) but as a movie on its own it did okay! definitely would not mind screencapping from it

I really want a sequel PLEASE let there be a sequel to this movie I would fight the entire fuckin industry for a goddamn sequel putting my boy front and center

Avan Jogia wants it!! Johannes Roberts wants it!! I personally would slaughter hordes of zombies for it!!
