Do K-Pop songs actually make sense? I mean I do not undestand what they are singing... but if the text is about what's being shown in the videos, then it's just random garbage.

My guess is that the videos have nothing to do with the lyrics at all.

KPop songs make a lot of sense, actually! one really cool thing about KPop is that a vast majority of the groups and artists out there follow certain storylines, like alternate universes, with their music videos and sometimes even their live performances, which are all really fascinating! like, take EXO for example. their storyline is that they're all +

men from another planet who were blessed with different elemental superpowers, and as their music videos (MVs for short) have gone on, their story has involved the members getting captured, experimented on, and then escaping (among other things). so even if the songs don't necessarily "go with the MVs", the songs are *not* "random garbage". some, like +

BTS's 'IDOL' MV, are just for fun. others, like BTS's I Need U, do follow their storyline, and even do fit the moody feel of the song. it's actually all very cleverly done, no matter how you look at it!

but that's just my opinion, coming from a person who's been a KPop fan for the last 5 years.
