: I found out in ‘19 but it’s been a corn maze trying to find information. Moms side of family mainly dead and the others know little about her and didn’t care to put in effort to find her. Dads side of family whoever is living doesn’t want to have any communication about me.

: I grew up all these years never told the truth until my uncle was all “you know your adopted right?” Seems it slipped out by accident and he never realized I didn’t know..
I’m so sorry you’re going through all this. I’ve known my whole life that I’m adopted (unfortunately because it was weaponized against me fairly frequently) but still struggle with a lot of things, though as I get older and older it becomes easier for me to process things and confront my trauma. There are some support groups on FB for adoptees that might
Being adopted is rough. Finding your roots can be even more difficult. I started looking for my biological father's family in the early 2000s. I knew for certain my father was deceased around 2013/2014. I only recently connected with first cousins (his brother's children) this year. Sending you much love.
oh my I can't imagine how painful this must be. I always knew I was adopted and wanted. and even still there is trama and issues that are a direct result of having been adopted.
I've never had any medical history at all until I found my biological father on 23&me. I still struggle to wrap my brain around finding him.
one step at a time. You can also do a 23&me test to help find out more about yourself My cousin was also adopted, but his mother wanted no contact so his records are bare

: I have to stay quiet about the whole thing of me finding out. All my adoptive family are on there. I have a cousin who won’t talk to me but I do have one uncle , my mother’s brother, who cares

: I understand the whole family medical history thing. I have absolutely no idea about anything from either side. I was able to pull autopsy reports for both and seems like mom had a lot of depression and possibly tyroid her breast cancer she has a plethora of stuff on her I’ll autopsy yet it comes back that it was a normal death

: I did all those 23 and me and everything else when I hired a private investigator who is a waste of money and not much back came back minus the fact that everyone’s from my mother side died at a young age and there was really nothing on my father minus one step brother who doesn’t want to be involved
