from the reaction of a lot of the playerbase against the previous three new maps of Valorant, it's that they hate: Verticality (boo hoo i don't want to look up or down to check for enemies), Long sight lines (boo hoo I don't want to fight snipers), and multiple angles at once (boo hoo I don't like getting flanked)
the complaints were mostly heard when they were brand new so a lot of it is just being unfamiliar to the map and people were waiting for the next tournament to have them so they could have a meta way to play it
