[dnd] SO I'm considering having my glamour bard multiclass into warlock for a few levels (mostly for story reasons) BUT I need to decide like... what pact 8Ta

he'll definitely be archfey and I'm not planning to take more than 3 levels in lock

I'm not doing pact of the chain bc I am running a warlock in a different campaign with that

bards are so underrated

I've always wanted to do a proper warlock. I got to play one for a little while but like, everyone in the party was split on goals so I couldn't really accomplish mine, and then the party fell apart.

Bards are a Good Time

pack of chain is mostly for the familiar but bard has that if you don't mind not getting the special warlock familiars. pact of tome is GREAT for extra spells. I've not try pact of talisman yet but it could be fun.

so it really depends on what style your bard you want it to be.

it's entirely a story choice tbh, he spent most of his life in the feywild so I'm here for the Archfey being like 'hey even if you're over there now you're still one of my subjects' and him being Super Torn on this

I might do book just bc it can give some cantrip versatility without entirely ruining the bard vibe

yeah, tome is really fun for the extra spell versatility. and that backstory with the feywild and warlock conflict sounds tantalising.
