[DW Euromaxx] 🧸 Anyone who wants to give Angela Merkel a farewell hug is now able to do so. A soft toy factory in Coburg has produced a teddy bear wearing the chancellor's garb – and of course with Merkel's signature hand position and a typically colorful jacket.
Fun Fact: The family-run business has already produced stuffed bears of many famous personalities, including former German chancellor Helmut Schmidt, ex-US president Barack Obama, and Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II.
