Never live next to a strip mall full of restaurants. Sure it's super convenient for food but the smells are absolute suffering.

right now the Dim Sum place is cleaning their fryers and it smells AMAZING and i'm starving

and then on saturday morning when the Italian place cooks garlic bread and it's all you can smell for miles..

there's also a ramen place, a chinese place, a thai place and a ramen place. So it just constantly smells delicious.

well unless something is burnt but that doesn't happen too often

well.. to be fair the Ramen place, Japanese place and the Dim Sum place aren't very good. They're fine. But they're not... great.

the Thai place and the Italian place are AMAZING. and the Chinese place is very very good.

the japanese place and the ramen place are about the same level as grocery store sushi. It's fine. It's passable. But it's not what you crave

the dim sum place is just not good. It's super greasy and everything kinda tastes the same no matter what it is. It's super popular tho so maybe it's a regional thing I'm not into

but they all SMELL amazing.

god I wish I lived close to a dim sum place... even if it was just ok but man having amazing Thai nearby is also incredible

(And that isn't a typo, there's two places that do ramen in this shopping center and they're both not very good)

lmao yeah I used to live right next to a burger king and a pizza place and it always smelled like food..........

I would be suffering all the time.

i think constant pizza smell might make me nauseous. Something about this is really delicious but inoffensive. My downstairs neighbor used to make naan bread on their patio in an electric cooker thing and the constant bread smell kinda made me want to gag.

it was overpowering. at least they only did it once a month.
