like... on some level it's pointless to speculate on the cosmology it's deliberately fuzzy. but true parallel worlds/timelines definitely exist, especially in ange's adventures in 1998, it's just that none of this stuff can be accessed from the game board's catbox, which pretty much locks in the idea of "the Rokkenjima Massacre"
