I still love that Legoshi seems like he's literally the only one taking the video script seriously and everyone else is cracking jokes or being horny and it's perfect

this video is probably the only thing that got me through today. I'm still amazed at how many of the voices sound exactly like the English Dub voices too

I did notice that and briefly wondered if some of then had been outtakes. Sometimes the VAs just like to joke and make fun of their projects

right? But nope, just some really good impersonators! I think the VA for Tao was the actual VA for Season 2 Tao (as the Season 1 VA I think probably had other commitments? IDK but they changed him out). That said, Tao literally had one line so I don't think that amounts to much

but yeah most of them were either "close enough" or in the case of Legoshi, Louis, and Haru, perfect

I'm having horrible flashbacks to the manga I still haven't watched season 2 because I've finished the manga and aaahhh xDD

Season 2 is really good

they add a couple of things which is nice, but it's also that they manage to translate the manga expressions beautifully

I am so scared to watch it xD... the moth... the moth scene scares me so much. It was painful scene in the manga

It's trippy AF in the anime, and they give it the time it deserves

it might just be that I didn't find the original scene super freaky but they do a good job with it in the anime too

also god you need to hear Pina in full audio

If anything the anime... IS slightly toned down?

Like, god I forget the kid's name but the kid who got his arm torn off, the anime doesn't show the moment it happens, just a scream and then you see what happened afterwards. Still kinda bloody but it's not too much. They do slight tone downs like that, which don't really detract from anything but make it a little more palatable for video

but tbh Pina alone makes season 2 worth it. There's also all the stuff with Louis which, again, they translate the manga expressions so well so Louis is incredibly funny

Louis does relax a great deal in the end of the Manga...kiinnddaaa. He still pissed me off a whole lot >.> Haru relaxed too a crap ton

I mean... Fair? Louis and Legoshi are a pair of dumb boys forever
